Santa

Things have been busy here which is why I haven't updated the blog lately. Adam and I spent the week of Thanksgiving in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. We attended the wedding of one of our friends. We had a great time but we were very happy to return home. Charlie stayed with Adam's parents and did great. Actually, we all did really well with the separation. Adam's mom was great about e-mailing pictures of Charlie.

Once we returned back home we basically hit the ground running. Last week was tough just trying to get back into work mode, getting used to this cold weather and preparing for Christmas. I took last Friday off of work and the three of us spent some quality time together.

Charlie had her Christmas pictures taken and then we stopped by to visit Santa. I wasn't going to wait around if there was a line but thankfully we arrived right when Santa did. We were second in line. Charlie didn't cry but was not interested in sitting on Santa's lap. We hadn't planned it but the photo op turned into a cute family picture.
