Her: "My daughter had a baby boy this morning." (shows me picture on her cell phone)
Me: "Congratulations! What a great Easter morning gift."
Her: "Thank you. The baby is doing really well and he is so cute."
Me: (Thinking now is the time to start telling the neighbors. We actually waited until it was dark to bring in the baby stroller from the car when we bought it). "Actually, I am due at the end of August."
Her: "Really? You are not even showing! Do you know what you are having?"
Me: "Oh, I am starting to show a bit. We are having a girl."
Her: "Actually, I saw you last week and it looked like you were gaining weight, especially in the face."
Me. "Ummmm….Well, enjoy the rest of your Easter Sunday." (Under my breath – GRRRRRRR).
