The Big 4-0!

Yep, that's right. Today I hit the 40 week mark in my pregnancy. I really thought I would of had this little guy by now but obviously he has a different plan in mind. I am not too concerned as Charlie was born at 41 weeks. I had an appointment this morning and everything is fine. I haven't progressed much since last week although I did lose a pound and a half (which is completely normal). I have to say, it is nice to see the scale move in the other direction after nine months of gaining weight! I am scheduled for a sonogram next Thursday to make sure the amniotic fluid is okay and then I have an appointment at the birthing center for a non-stress test. I did all of these appointments with Charlie too so I am not concerned.

This past week I took it a bit easier. I went to work Monday through Thursday although I only worked 4-5 hours a day, except for yesterday when I worked 7 hours. It was nice to concentrate on something other than when is this baby going to get here. I plan to do the same thing next week if I don't have the baby this weekend.
