Well, today was my official due date and...nothing. Everyone says I will know when it is time but so far I got nothing. No signs what so ever that this little girl wants to experience life on the outside. I am just thankful that I feel good and am not uncomfortable.
Yesterday I went and watched some friends at a local triathlon. I was there for about four hours - on the my feet the entire time. I thought that might make something happen. Nope. Today I went to work for half the day. Then this afternoon I went and had a pedicure. All in all not a bad day. Tomorrow I plan on going into work too. As long as I feel good I am going to go to work. I am not working full days though - just playing it by ear. I think I make my co-workers nervous however. They don't like being near me for fear I might spontaneously go into labor. I just don't think it is going to happen like that though.
My next appointment with the midwife is Wednesday afternoon. I think they will let me go two weeks past my due date which will be September 6th. I will find out more on Wednesday though. My parents will arrive on September 5th. Hopefully something will happen before they arrive.
