Again, I don't know how more than six months has gone by without me updating this blog. As you can probably assume, life has been busy for us. A good busy, though. Two weeks ago, Griffin and Charlie started a new preschool. For the past two years Charlie has gone to a preschool program at our local Y. We loved the program and the teacher but unfortunately the program was discontinued. We found out about the discontinuation in late July which left us scrambling to find a program for both of them. Thankfully we found one that we think we will really like.

All in all, it was a pretty good day...

Snow Day

I know it has been too long since I have updated this blog. Today's snow storm finally gave me the time and pictures I needed to post an update. It started snowing last night around 7pm and I think it snowed throughout the night. We woke up to about a foot of snow and we are supposed to get more this afternoon and evening.

Here is Griffin in the snow. He couldn't move once I put him in place for the picture:

For Christmas my parents gave Adam money to put towards a snowblower. What a lifesaver! We would still be out there shoveling. It took Adam about 2.5 hours to clear our driveway.

And Charlie was perfectly content laying around eating the snow. I told her most people liked to lay out in the sun but she likes to lay out in the snow:

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Charlie was disappointed that she missed out on the tire park fun so while Griffin was napping we made chocolate chip cookies. We both agreed that the best part of making the cookies was eating them!

Tire Park

Since I am not working (government shutdown) Griffin and I met a co-worker of mine and her daughter for a playdate. This is the first time I can remember doing something with just Griffin (Charlie was at preschool). The park is made out of recycled tires and Griffin loved it! While we were waiting for my friend to arrive Griffin was able to explore on his own. The slide was his favorite part.
